MEPS is committed to educating and feeding children in the area of Mirebalais, Haiti. This small rural town has been a popular refuge for those fleeing Port Au Prince, 45 km away. Although Mirebalais was unbearably poor previous to the earthquake, the town has gathered together to support eachother.
They now need your support in creating a hospital.

On January 12, 2010 Haiti suffered a devastating earthquake; killing 230,000, injuring 300,000 and leaving homeless over 1,000,000 people.

Partners in Health have been actively treating people in the central plateau region of Haiti since 1985. They immediately began treating the victims of the earthquake. In the first 4 months over 100,000 Haitian have been treated by the amazing health care professionals at Zanmi Lasante.

As Mirebalais is an increasingly new home to refugees from Port Au Prince, they begin the task of building a new hospital to serve their needs. You can help.

Ironwood Grill has generously opened their doors, their musicians their talent and you, your hearts to make this new hospital a reality!

See you there.
